EXHIBITOR INFORMATION

There will be an exhibitors meeting at 8:30am on Saturday, September 10, 2011.

Check-in is Thursday afternoon or Friday morning, before 9am. No animal is allowed to leave the Fair Grounds before Sunday afternoon at 5pm.

All animals must be on the grounds by 9am Friday, and must remain until 5pm Sunday. Failure to follow these rules will result in the forfeiture of prize money.

Entry Fees:
$30 per animal
$30 for pen

Minimum of 2 animals per stall.

Admission to the Fair
Three-day Passes:

Adults (18-older)	$10
Youth (6-17 years):	$6
Children (5 and under):	Free

 

GATE TIMES:

Friday and Saturday:	10 am to 10 pm
Sunday:	10 am to 5 pm

 

 

Note: Blackburn Gate will open at 6:30am for exhibitor admittance for the early Alpaca Shows.

Parking:
3-day Parking Pass : $15

Livestock/Supply trailers are exempt from parking fees, but must park in designated areas. For all other vehicles, a 3 day Parking Pass is $15. Parking on the grounds is restricted to vehicles and livestock/supply trailers belonging to livestock and commercial exhibitors. Passes can be purchased on the Entry Form or at Blackburn Gate. No parking will be permitted on the grounds except in designated areas and all vehicles within these areas must display a valid Parking Pass. Falure to comply will result in being towed at owner's expense. Livestock feed supplies may be unloaded within the grounds before 9:30am only.

Camping:
A 3-day Camping Pass is available at $30.00 per unit (Truck with tent-trailer = 1 parking unit plus 1 camping unit, $15), (Truck with mounted camper = 1 camping unit, $30). Camping on the South Grounds is restricted to campers, camping trailers or motor homes belonging to livestock and commercial exhibitors. No hook-ups are available. Each unit must purchase and display a Camping Pass. Passes can be purchased with registration or at Blackburn Gate.

Advertising:
Business card size advertising is available for the Alpaca Show brochure and is set at $25. Sponsorship and business card advertising can be paid by cheque made out to SALMON ARM FAIR - ALPACA SHOW.  Please include your business card with the registration and/or send your logo in electronic format to: info@tocinoalpacas.com.
