Make new friends, learn new things!
The British Columbia Llama & Alpaca Association meets 10 times a year at various members homes, often with delicious potluck meals. These meetings combine business with pleasure. We host:
- Fibre Clinics
- Driving Seminars
- Packing Demonstrations
- Talks by various camelid experts
And we just plain old have fun! Club members are very involved in local events, entering lamas in parades, entertaining seniors in retirement homes and supporting fairs and town celebrations. Click HERE to join us.
If we are going to be successful with our lamas and alpacas, we need to unite and support the growth of our industry. We do this by becoming ACTIVE members. By sharing our knowledge and expertise. By breeding only the BEST animals. By showing non-camelid owners what they are missing out on! It’s time to get excited about these creatures and pass our enthusiasm on! Become a member, come to the meetings and GET INVOLVED! If we all do a little - we will accomplish a lot!
The BCLAA newsletter is mailed out quarterly to members. It includes current club news, members advertising and articles of interest on living with lamas and alpacas. This newsletter enables members to keep up to date on developments in the llama and alpaca community.
